Sharon here.  Oct 13- We docked in Nice, France a little behind schedule due to the bad weather during the night.  It was nice and warm and just driving off the ferry was an adventure in itself!  Some of the cars were tired of waiting for the line in front of them to start moving and decided to back up and take  the lane next to us and once we got off the ferry, it was a free for all.  We actually had an elderly lady in a smart car just merge to her left and didn't even turn her head to see if it was safe to do so.  We wondered how she lived to be so old!  We managed to get out of Nice without too many problems and of course Beulah was a great help!  We drove for most of the afternoon and arrived at our overnight destination at Cap D'agde, France.  The gentlemen at the desk recommended a few nice restaurants that were supposed to be only a 10 minute drive away, but it took us a fair bit longer.  We may have made a couple of wrong turns!  We had a nice meal of fresh seafood and had an early night.  Oct 14-Sunday morning we were on the road again, but instead of taking the toll roads/freeways we decided that we would stick to the coast as much as possible so our 4hr. drive took most of the day and that was even when we decided to get on the toll roads so we would get to our destination at a decent time.  We arrived in Peniscola, Spain around 6:00pm.  We didn't have an address for the villa where we would be staying so Ed and Janice struck out to find a pay phone to call the owners for directions.  After putting nearly $20.00 into three different pay phones, they decided to go into a bar and ask to use their phone.  The owners of the villa said they would come in to town and guide us to the villa.  We are very pleased with our accommodation once again.  The two bedrooms and bathroom are on the main floor when you walk in the front door and the kitchen/eating area and living room are downstairs - an upside down house.  It is very clean and bright and has just been renovated this past winter.  We have a balcony off both of the bedrooms and a patio off the living room and a pool in the backyard.  We are 10 minutes from the Mediterranean Sea and from a bar up the street - we are going there for dinner this evening.  We went to the market this morning and to the beach this afternoon.
After getting back from the beach, which again was an adventure as we went up some narrow, winding, dirt roads, we played some cards and had a snack and drink before going to dinner at 8PM.  We had a great meal at a bar/restaurant about 10mins from here.
The owners of our rental unit are from Wales so they both speak english and were very helpful in giving us tips, restaurant recommendations, places to visit etc.  Tomorrow we are off to have breakfast in town, take a small train tour and visit the Old Town with its castle and watch the fishing boats come in with their catch and purchase some for dinner.  That is the plan.  Stay tuned to find out what we really did.
