Hi all. Sharon here.  Hope you enjoyed the photos.  Now to continue on and finish our Corsica portion of the trip.  The last few days on the island have been very relaxing for us, we went to the HyperU which is a very large all inclusive store and purchased some very fresh seafood which we prepared for appies.  We invited Claude and Carole, the couple that own the apartment, to join us for 'happy hour'.  We had lots of laughs - they come from Montreal (Claude is originally from Corsica).  Later that evening we barbecued steaks that we had purchased at a local meat vendor.  On our last evening in Corsica, we went out for dinner to an authentic Corsican restaurant which happened to be perched on a mountain side up a very narrow and windy road.  The building which housed the restaurant was probably built in about 1500 - it was all stone.  We were served in the traditional Corsican style - one course at a time. We were served six courses and the presentation of each course was exceptional.  We enjoyed our meal immensely and pretty much 'rolled' back to the car. We had heavy rains, lots of thunder and lightning during the night.  Carole had invited us to their home for breakfast before we left to catch the ferry to Nice.  We have enjoyed the Isle du Corscia very much.  We'll always have great memories from this week of our vacation.
